TPencil® “Ang Lapis ng Magaling” and Li’l Hands® “Where Fun Learning Begins” slated its battle of artistry among grade school students, through its Li’l Hands®/TPencil® School Caravan, days before the school year 2008-2009 officially ends. Li’l Hands®/TPencil® School Caravan is an activity designed for the Grade 4 to Grade 6 students in different private and public schools in NCR and nearby South Luzon provinces. On its intra-school phase, young students were introduced to pointillism and cross-hatching as two of the basic technique in painting and coloring using the brilliant hues of Li’l Hands® Colored Pencils and Li’l Hands® Coloring Pens. The winners from the intra-school level convened on February 28 in Makati Parks and Gardens to compete with representatives of other schools. The inter-school phase of Li’l Hands® School Caravan gave chance not only to students but also to their art coaches, who gave the participants unwavering support and guidance, to showcase the depth of their artistic abilities. Students and teachers alike depicted through their drawing the still-life image using Li’l Hands Oil Pastel ® and Li’l Hands® Colored Pencils. Li’l Hands® and TPencil® picked best works of twenty (20) students and one (1) art teacher. Each winner received cash prizes, Crayola® collectible items and would have the chance to be one of the four (4) overall winners. Li’l Hands®/TPencil® School Caravan paved the way to recognize the importance of teaching arts in educational institutions and being blessed with artistic talent is a gift one should be truly proud of.
