PROMO MECHANICS:
1) Open to all ages.
2) Use at least three (3) dozens of TPencils to create a Christmas Lantern.
3) TPencils may be glued, nailed, cemented or stitched to form a Christmas Lantern.
Other materials to be used should be limited to unbranded and recycled materials
only.
4) Participants may send as many entries as possible. Group entries are acceptable.
5) Criteria for judging the entries:
CREATIVITY (30%) – the ability to put something to existence out of innovation and
creativity. It is also the ability to create something out of TPencils and AMSPEC
materials.
PRESENTATION (20%) – the manner how the entry is presented, shown or
displayed before an audience or the viewing public.
USE OF MATERIALS (30%) – use of TPencils and other materials in the formation of
an object or item.
SIZE (20%) - the physical magnitude, extent or bulk of the entry.
6) All entries (including those from provincial areas) shall be submitted to: |

7) All entries submitted must be accompanied by a 5R photo (black & white or colored)
of the entry with the participant's name, address, & signature at the back. Name of
participants shall be written on a piece of paper and be given an entry number upon
submission of entries. If a participant sent the entry/entries by courier, entry/entries
will be properly acknowledged and posted in Amspec website www.amspecial.com
with the corresponding entry number/s.
8) Utmost care and diligence is required from the participant during packing and
shipping of their entry. In any case that the entry does not arrive in its original form,
the accompanying photo will be the basis for reconstruction / repair of the Lantern,
which is to be done by Amspec. The photo should resemble the actual entry.
Amspec is not liable for broken or lost entries during transportation.
9) Decision of the panel of judges shall be final and unappealable.
10) Only entries submitted and received at Amspec Office on or before November 30,
2008 will be included in the judging.
11) Judging will be held on December 5, 2008 (Friday) at the Amspec Office in
Muntinlupa City.
12) All entries, winning and non-winning, shall become properties of AMSPEC.
13) A participant can only win once. If a participant wins more than once, he gets the
bigger prize value.
14) List of winners shall be published in leading newspapers and in Amspec website
at www.amspecial.com. Winners may claim their prizes at the AMSPEC office,
through the Marketing Department, upon presentation of at least two (2) valid
identification cards (laminated school or company ID, driver's license, passport,
postal ID, etc.) Cash prizes of provincial winners will be sent through a local bank.
All winners will be notified through registered mail.
15) Prizes not claimed within 60 days from the date of notification will be forfeited in
favor of AMSPEC with prior approval from DTI. All employees of Amspec and its
affiliate companies, participating outlets, suppliers, advertising agency and their
relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from
joining the promo.
16) Prizes are tax-free and paid for by Amspec.
17) Prizes are non-transferable.
18) Contest duration is from September 1, 2008 to November 30, 2008.
